Thumbprint Gallery is pleased to present Between All Things, a solo show by Andrew McNamara. Join us for the opening reception Saturday, May 9, from 5pm to 10pm. The exhibit will be open to the public for viewing through June 7, 2015.
This body of work was driven by a desire to capture the feelings of indecision, uncertainty, and contemplation that we experience in our connections with other people. Often we find ourselves caught in a place thats indescribable but evident to those around us, between defeat and recovery. To bring beauty and life to these periods of irresolution, gives these moments a sense of strength and validity.
“I hope to convey the feelings and emotions we often experience, yet rarely talk about.” – Andrew McNamara
FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Andrew is a San Diego based artist with a borderline obsessive attention to detail, and an eye for clean and fluid work. He is influenced by social situations, textile patterns, and cultural differences and beliefs from around the world. He then amalgamates all of that inspiration into strong, cohesive images.
