Writerz Blok is hosting a FREE kick-off event on Saturday, March 19, to launch an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to raise $25,000 that will last 45 days. The money will go toward building new classroom spaces to house more educational programs and a pop-up retail store that will offer special edition apparel and skateboards featuring designs by renowned artists and teach students managerial and retail skills.

The event will feature live musical performances by artists from “Reclaiming the Community” coalition:
